Is the seating chart maker free?
Yes. Adding guests, drawing your floor plan, seating everyone and previewing every print file is free. You only pay $19 once if you want the clean, print-ready files without the watermark.
Can I draw my venue layout?
Yes. Set your room size, then drag in round, oval, square, banquet, head, sweetheart and cocktail tables and rotate them. Add the dance floor, stage, bar, DJ, buffet, cake table, entrance and more. Seats appear around every table so you can drag each guest to an exact seat.
Does it work for big events or non-weddings?
It handles up to 1,000 guests and 120 tables, and works for weddings, galas, corporate dinners, birthdays, bar and bat mitzvahs, reunions and any seated event. All wording on the print files is editable.
Do I need an account?
No. Open the planner and start. Your plan saves automatically in your browser. After paying you get a license key that unlocks the Event Pass on another device.
Is my guest list private?
Your guest list never leaves your device: the planner and the print files are generated in your browser. We do not store or see the names. Save a backup file to move your plan to another computer.
What print files do I get?
Six PDFs in one matching design: a seating chart poster (by table or A–Z, from 11×17 in to 36×48 in or A3–A0), escort cards, place cards (folded or flat), table numbers (full page, 5×7 or folded tent), a floor plan for your venue, and a seat-by-seat catering sheet with meal totals.
Can I track meal choices and dietary notes?
Yes. Give each guest a meal (beef, chicken, fish, vegetarian, kids — or your own options), a group and notes such as allergies. The catering sheet totals meals per table, and you can print the meal on escort and place cards for the servers.
How much can I customize the design?
Start from 10 styles (Classic, Romantic, Modern, Garden, Art Deco, Chalkboard, Rustic, Navy & Gold, Minimal, Boho), then change the paper color, accent color, heading and text fonts (11 and 7 choices, including scripts), frame, ornament and all wording. The preview updates live.
Can I print at home or at a print shop?
Both. Cards and table numbers are US Letter or A4 PDFs with crop marks for a home printer or card stock. The poster is a high-resolution vector PDF that any print shop (Staples, FedEx Office, Vistaprint, a local printer) can print at full size.
What if my guest list changes after I pay?
Edit your plan and download again as often as you like. The Event Pass covers unlimited changes for your event.
Can I import my guest list from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Paste names straight from Excel, Google Sheets, Zola, The Knot or any RSVP export, or import a CSV — columns for meal, group, table and notes are picked up automatically. Lines like "Sarah & Tom Collins" become two guests who stay together.
Is it a subscription?
No. The Event Pass is a single payment of $19. No renewals.
